Raimi
Raimi is a musician from Amarillo, Texas, who's worked within the local tight-knit art community for years. Both on their own and with the help of other artists, Raimi has broken boundaries within the local music scene. During their time as an artist, Raimi has encouraged experimenting and breaking genre barriers.
the situation
I spent about a month working with a local artist or business to improve their social media. Raimi approached me looking to improve their social media presence, as they had lost a good deal of post engagement and reach over the last year. At the same time, Raimi expressed their desire to promote and release a single. After some discussion, Raimi tasked me with creating a new look for their brand, creating content for their upcoming single, and managing two of their social media pages.
the solution
To combine Raimi's wants and needs, I decided to create a countdown campaign out of the single they were releasing. I immediately got to work planning out each photo and a new look for their brand. We decided to go with a clone theme for the single as social distancing standards proved to be a challenge and for a pastel visual theme overall to give the artist a new and fresh look. At the same time, I also decided to create a music video for the single as I felt it would help increase our reach. I planned each post according to Raimi's social media audience behavior to get the most out of those already following Raimi's content.

the outcome
After all was said and done, Raimi's reach increased substantially throughout our promotion. Our collaboration resulted in 1.3k music video views and multiple new followers for the artist. Comparatively, the last video posted by the artist amassed 87 views. Followers also expressed that they enjoyed the promotion photos and new social media look. The results indicate success within the promotion despite its small scale.
